Prior to opening his private clinic, Vivek previously held the position as Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the world renowned Canniesburn Plastic Surgery Unit in Glasgow for 14 years where he performed pioneering techniques including micro and laser surgery. Vivek also holds the position of Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Glasgow.
Vivek is a fully accredited plastic surgeon on the General Medical Council’s (GMC) specialist register for plastic surgery and holds memberships with BAAPS and BAPRAS.

Clinical Support Team
Vivek is supported by a highly skilled clinical team of skilled Anesthetists and Registered General Nurses (RGN) who have many years experience in aesthetic surgery.
Vivek also does not employ any sales staff which means any member of the team you discuss treatment with are all medical professionals and capable of answering any questions you might have.
To ensure continuity right through your experience the nurse you meet initially will be responsible for managing your journey right through from consultation to procedure and through to follow-up appointments.
Vectra 3D Scanner
Located in his Glasgow clinic is a Vectra 3D Scanner – the only one of its kind in Scotland and one of the most advanced body imaging systems on the market. This highly sophisticated piece of equipment takes a 3D scan of the area you wish to have treated and then presents you with an on-screen 3D simulation. The software then allows the consultant to manipulate the image in order that you can see how you would appear prior to making a final decision.
Walk-In-Walk-Out
Most Cosmetic Surgery procedures Vivek carries out are completed under local anaesthetic and sedation. The benefit of this type of approach means that you can get back to your daily routines as quickly as possible without the requirement of overnight stays in hospital.
However, should you opt for a general anaesthetic you may be required to stay overnight at one of our partner private hospitals for observation.
